Moths are aliens amongst us, like octopus. This is a great image, did you use any reference to actual moths? I feel I can see an Owl in there.
I actually referenced a 3-d printed toy I have of a mothman-like creature. I definitely agree there's some Owl in there, especially the feet.
Thanks for the share. Nice. The pixel art works by itself though, looks totally awesome.
